We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, personal checks, and even cash.

Reservation Policy

A deposit of one night's rental for each week or partial week is needed to reserve your cabin.   If deposit is paid by check, we must receive your check no later than ten days after cabin is booked.

Balance is due upon arrival, not departure.

Our 3 bedroom log cabin has a 2 night minimum stay during the "off season" and from June 1 through September 30 can be reserved from Saturday to Saturday only.

We do not issue refunds for problems with the satellite TV as this is not considered a necessity.  We will make every effort to have repairs done as soon as possible however there are limited service contractors in this area.

Cancellation Policy

We turn away many families looking for cabins because we are often fully booked.  Therefore, the following policies apply to all reservations:

We require a deposit equal to the amount of the first night's stay in your cabin(s) for each week or partial week.  This deposit is non-refundable unless:

1.  You cancel your reservation no later than thirty (30) days prior to the first day reserved...

2.  ...or your visit is snow related for snowmobiling in the Keweenaw or skiing at Mt. Bohemia and the ski hill or snowmobile trails are closed due to lack of snow.

There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.  Please note that if you make a reservation and don't show up, you are responsible for the entire amount of your reservation less any nights that we are able to rebook.

We have no control over the weather or family misfortunes and cannot give a refund for these situations.

Pet Policy 

Well behaved pets are welcome in most of the cabins.  No pets are allowed in the log cabin.  If a pet is found in the log cabin, you may be asked to leave the premises with no refund given.

There is an additional charge of $10/night per pet with a maximum of 2 pets per cabin. 

If you bring a pet and do not let us know, your credit card will be charged for the required fees.

For the safety of other persons and pets including your own, dogs must be leashed and under your control at all times when outside of your cabin.

Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds unless you have brought sheets/throws with you to cover our furniture and beds.

Dogs are not allowed to be left alone in the cabin.  Their barking is unfair to our other guests.

You will need to either walk your dog away from our property or clean up after him.

You are responsible for any damage your pet does to cabins or property and you will be billed for any repairs or extraordinary cleaning necessary.

We appreciate your adherence to these policies which make the stays much more enjoyable for all of our guests.

Check Out Policy

Before you leave:

Wash and put away all dishes

Take garbage to outside container

Put furniture back as you found it

Check cabin for personal belongings

Leave key either on cabin table or in our key drop in our lodge entryway
