Looking for a Mountain Biking destination for this summers vacation ? Look no further. Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula offers a great variety of biking experiences within a days drive from the Midwest's population centers. See you on the trail! Hiking You will find easy to difficult hiking trails. Four of the favorite ones are the Estivant Pines Sanctuary which takes you through one of Michigan's last stands of old growth white pine: Hunter's Point which goes right along Lake Superior; Lake Manganese which is a more demanding trail; and the Kamakazie Trail which winds along Lake Fanny Hooe.
Hunter's Point trailhead starts at the Copper Harbor Marina.
